What is the NIH STAGE TRIALS Training Program?
The NIH STAGE TRIALS Training Program, sponsored by The National Institute on Aging, is a national educational program designed for early- to mid-career scientists interested in advancing behavioral interventions through the NIH Stage Model and randomized controlled trials (RCTs).
The NIH STAGE TRIALS Training Program’s long-term objective is to expand the national pool of NIH Stage Model-informed and NIH-funded scientists committed to advancing behavioral interventions to promote healthy aging. Scientists trained by this program will learn how to develop behavioral interventions with implementation in mind. This will reduce the gap between research and clinical practice for behavioral interventions.
